This is the third year we've gotten together to do the Mennen family photos.  They are a great family and it's fun to see how the kids have changed.

in the first game of the season, 

with the final score Regina 14, Clear Creek-Amana 7.

Olga has been in Iowa City for the summer doing research, and heads home to Russia this weekend.  We did a photo shoot around Iowa City today and had a blast!  Olga, if you ever get bored with Chemistry, you can definitely make a living as a model!

When we get together for a team photo shoot, we like to let the kids put together some fun extra shots with their teammates/friends/siblings.  Even the coaches go along with it - some even loan their vehicle for a group shot or allow themselves to be a human prop (Thanks, Coach Swope!).  Here are a few from this last week's photo sessions.  The rest of the pixx will be posted to their respective team galleries so please check our main site for them:  www.icpixx.com.

Kelli & Erik

Kelli and Erik will be getting married in October - and we are SO excited to be their photographers!  We had a blast doing their engagement pictures - hiking their favorite trail, ending up where Erik proposed to Kelli.  

They are obviously in love and seem to be great friends - a perfect combination! 

RHS XC Half-Marathon 2009

An annual tradition to kick off XC season -

XC team members (current and past), parents, coaches, and friends come together and run the route that's the distance of half a marathon. Fans man water stations throughout the course. Those recovering from an injury ride bikes. Those of us who aren't as athletic as we once were watch our family and friends with pride - happy to be a part of the XC family and inspired to get moving a little more ourselves...

Coach Swope, armed with his heavy-duty squirt gun, patrols the course, giving support and encouragement to all, just as his mentor, our beloved and dearly missed Coach Brown always did.

All are welcome - come join the fun next year!

Easteighteen at 1st Ave Live - Cedar Rapids

A great show in honor of Amanda.  A major highlight was Amanda's little brother, Aaron, with a debut performance on the drums.  The applause was deafening as the crowd responded!  Here are a few photos from the night - more to come on our galleries
